HP is pulling the best parts from their ZCentral and Teradici product lines into a single unifying product. Today, HP announced the HP Anyware for Digital Workspaces, which is a merger of these two technologies. HP ZCentral Remote Boost originally started out as HP Remote Workstations Software, which became HP Remote Graphics Software (RGS) and today’s known as ZCentral Remote Boost which, along with HP ZCentral Connect which acts as a connection broker between remote desktops and remote workers. Although PCoIP is Teradici’s best-known product they also have CAS, which acts as a connection broker between remote desktops and remote workers. It is used by VMware Horizon and AWS workspaces. PCoIP, which is Teradici’s remote display protocol, has been used by many companies and has more than 15 million users worldwide.
